BRISBANE, Australia – Aug 23, 2022 – Tech sustainability disruptor Thrust Carbon has partnered with Brisbane’s award-winning Kudos Travel Technology to blaze a path toward making sustainable travel more accessible for everyone via a new partnership that will see smart technology influence better travel decisions.
Thrust Carbon is sparking conversations across the globe with advanced technological solutions built by the London-based company’s team of innovators, climate technologists and problem solvers to enable businesses such as Kudos to expand on their customers’ options for green travel.
The multi award-winning carbon intelligence solution is integrated into Kudos’ platform, taking pre- and post-travel into account in a visually meaningful way. Travellers can easily keep track of their own personal footprint, while corporations can obtain a company-wide view of carbon emissions, and gain assistance in plotting a unique path to Net-Zero.
Importantly, Thrust Carbon’s market-leading methodologies extend far beyond air travel, creating a significant point of difference: the impact of hotel stays, car and rail travel, excursions, deliveries, raw materials processing and the details of individual travel are examined too.
Phase 1 of the partnership saw the Thrust Carbon calculator integrated into Kudos’ Request and Trips function. This tool presents emissions data and useful metrics that keep travellers and travel managers better informed about the environmental impact of their travel choices.
